17yr old Jasmine Kiss is everything her father expects her to be. The last thing he expects is her taking a year off to pursue her dreams of joining a band as lead guitarist,He kicks her out and its up to Jasmine to find out if she can make it on her own w, no with no job, no place to live and no band. Everything starts to look up when she finds a great room (assuming she can convince the awesome band living in it she’s perfect for them). All she has to do is get over a case of stage fright and a maybe, she’ll make it in the band and prove to the cute bassist that she’s got what it takes.
No seriously, its not a teen book. This is a really awesome children’s book written by Lane Smith. In this increasingly digital age you have to wonder if there are people who have no idea what a book is. Watch the animated version below to get an idea of its awesomeness! Find out about his other books by clicking on his name .
I read that these are books EVERY teen needs to read. I’m afraid that when it comes to this list I’m gonna have to buckle down and get reading! I haven’t read nearly enough of them! What about you? Have you read them? How many have you read?

The video is by Improv in Toronto who says “We’re all about bringing the community together. Meeting new friends, trying new things, and enjoying the city we live in. We do this by running both large and small public games, events and pranks to shake up peoples day.”
Fifteen-year-old Brooklyn has been making bad decisions since, at age two, she became famous for falling down a mine shaft, and so she starts a blog to let others make every decision for her, while her community-service hours are devoted to a woman who insists Brooklyn read her "Choose the Story" books.
Take a look at the trailer for the book!
